Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in New Zealand: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, several Maps and Navigation apps showed notable performance trends on the Android platform in New Zealand. Here are the highlights for the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Navionics® Boating from Garmin experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.5K at the end of March and showing a decline to about $2.4K by the end of June. Downloads started at 82 in late March, decreasing steadily to 39 by the end of June. Active users also saw a decline from 301 to 211 over the quarter.

Spacetalk displayed a steady revenue increase, reaching around $1.4K in late June. Downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 43 and ending with a similar figure. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 331 to 354 by the quarter's end.

Circuit Route Planner showed variable revenue, peaking at $959 in mid-April, then stabilizing around $760 by late June. Downloads showed an initial rise to 106 in late April, followed by a decrease to 69 by quarter's end. Active users remained fairly consistent, ending the quarter at 263.

New Zealand Topo Maps recorded a revenue peak of $913 in mid-April, declining to $336 by late June. Downloads started strong at 125, peaking at 161 in April, and decreased to 86 by the quarter's end.
